Fundraising Gala at Disney’s The Lion King
Ottawa’s first performance of Broadway’s Tony® Award-winning sensation, Disney’s The Lion King, is July 14 and the Kilimanjaro Grannies are proud to host an exclusive African-themed Gala dinner in the National Arts Centre’s Panorama and Fountain Rooms prior to the performance. Experience the breathtaking musical from the best seats in the house. Then rub shoulders in the main foyer at a Post-Show Reception to which the cast and crew have been invited.
With the generous support of the National Arts Centre, Disney and Broadway Across Canada, the Kilimanjaro Grannies are hosting a spectacular and fun affair on July 14, 2011. Your evening starts at 5:00 p.m. with Chef Blackie’s unique three-course African-themed dinner in the Panorama and Fountain Rooms. Then prepare yourself to be mesmerized by the breathtaking spectacle of animals brought to life by a cast of more than 40 actors. Be thrilled by the pulsating rhythms of the African Pride Lands from your premium orchestra seats. End the evening on a perfect note with light refreshments in the NAC’s main foyer. The cast and crew are invited to mingle with you and share their experiences on this breathtaking musical. This private Post-show Reception is limited to Platinum and Gold Gala ticket holders.
